Some folks on the SeeMe forum said that the SpaceClaim tutorials are directly applicable to DSM, and they also have a nice archive of their past webinars available there. Definitely worth checking out.

In case you missed it, here's yesterday's training video. It's a quick 30 mins and has a lot of basics about navigation, rotation, selection, etc that may not have been obvious to the self taught.
I also got a survey from them after the webinar which included a link to request a personalized training session. If we all come up with a list of questions, I'd be happy to approach them about hosting a remote session for our group.

Description: The Speed and Freedom of 3D Modeling in SpaceClaim Thursday, February 19th 10:00 - 10:30am (ET) and 2:00pm - 2:30pm (ET)
In the beginning stages of design, the ability to design creatively and without technological constraint is critical. More often than not, however, early design occurs in an environment where it is assumed design intent is already realized, thus creating an atmosphere of frustration as users try to pigeonhole ideas into a platform built for documentation. With ANSYS SpaceClaim’s intuitive and simple interface, you have the freedom to: • Create and edit geometry multiple times, without the fear of a feature rebuild error • Import files from nearly any CAD system • Easily make unplanned changes or “undo” recent edits • Creatively explore ideas and find the ideal design for your project Sign up today for our webinar on how you can leverage the power of SpaceClaim for better design results in less time.
