Interesting idea for height adjustment on cheap K40 lasers

That might be something that Mike can use on his micro 3D printer.

I thought about this on my laser project... It has a telescoping piece that lets you move the focusing lens up and down, it would be pretty easy to do. I can move it by hand though, and I think that's what I'll go with for the time being.

I love how he used a paperclip as the lead-nut. It's definitely a creative/resourceful design.

A paperclip? Geez, I definitely overdesigned my lead-nut. Although his does wobble quite a bit in the video. That's a great idea though.

Maybe you can integrate the paper clip into your printed design.
