I am sending you the lineup, itinerary, and store map for our 2016 Maker Fair. It is our kickoff to the holiday season and we have a huge line up of Maker Guests as well as a huge lineup of new and exciting products to demonstrate and showcase for the weekend. You'll see the line up of Makers and products in the attached documents.
Part of the Maker Fair experience is to have a Make Workspace, Meet the Maker presentation space, and a Make & Collaborate space. If you look at the attached map, you'll see that these spaces are marked in red and they are in NOOK and our TOYS & GAMES depts.
The event runs for Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th from 11AM - 6PM. The last activity is advertised to start at 5PM.
Each Maker, School, and Participant will have at least one 6' table and a power strip running to the table in order to have electricity for their displays/presentations. We have a limited amount of tables available to us so we were careful with how we distributed them.
For our bookfair Makers, I will have extra vouchers on hand for you to distribute if one of your customers forgot. I will also be sending you specialized Maker bookfair vouchers individually as well.
Our friends at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will be here to offer holiday gift wrapping. They will be located at the mall entrance. If you or your friends/family/supporters would like to start your holiday shopping early, this is the perfect time to have it wrapped!
If you have questions or concerns about your placement for the event, please let me know ASAP. I partnered with my store manager and spent a lot of time and consideration for mapping the event. We wanted it to feel like it was a store-wide event so the placement is a little more widespread than it was last year. We wanted the spaces to reflect your activities and projects that you have planned.
Thank you so much for your partnership and interest in being with us this year. I look forward to having you all in the store and having a really fun and festive event!
Sincerely, Jim Emmons Community Business Development Manager Barnes & Noble , Inc.

WE can bring our own table, I don't have a problem with that. Not sure why he has us listed on the Itinerary ... Hum. I talked to him on the phone the other day, he didn't ask about us doing any type of presentation.
