I know some of you have signed up to help out at these events. We are still looking for more help due to the growth of teams in our area. FIRST LEGO League & Jr FIRST LEGO League Expo
Nov 12th @ Elkhart Memorial High School 7:00am - 4:00pm (Breakfast and Lunch Provided for Volunteers)
Training offered in person at ETHOS Science Center Nov 2nd & 7th as well as via email FIRST LEGO League (4th-8th Grade) Running Robots on the Game Tables and Judged in Core Values, Robot Design, and Project Presentation. This year's theme is "Animal Allies" - about Animals and Humans interactions FIRST LEGO League Jr (K-3rd Grade) theme was "Creature Craze" where they had to explore about Honey Bees and other animals that live where bees are found. Then build a model to show what they found out about Bees. Teams then present to JrFLL Reviews at the Expo in a Science Fair like style presentation.
FIRST Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament Feb 4th @ Elkhart Memorial High School - 7:00am - 4:00pm (Breakfast and Lunch Provided for Volunteers)
Training is offered via an online self guided training
FIRST Tech Challenge (7th-12th) Teams will check in, get their robot inspected, get judged on their team over all, and then compete in this year's game "Velocity Vortex"
