I thought it was kind of cool the South Bend makerspace had a store. Is this something that might be in the works for the new location? It might be a more friendly setting for people who are on the fence about attending, allow us to take requested projects, encourage membership, and provide some extra funding to boot. We would all need to sit down and discuss policies of course but it seems like there is a lot of potential with the group we have.

I was just at Duke for a conference (separate post coming soon), and their (65 machine!) makerspace has a vending machine with filament, arduinos, and stepper motors in it.
I also got to tour the ShopBot factory, and they've got a machine that vends duct tape and WD-40.
