I have inspired my department to have some fun with a pumpkin carving contest at our place of work and we are looking for an Arduino Uno, 12 mini gear micro servo's, and a solderless breadboard with power supply and jumper cables.
Unfortunately, we are dealing with a deadline and would like to get our supplies before Friday this week, if possible.
I may also need to swing by a meeting and get some help on programming it (although our IT Director has his degree in Electrical engineering) , once I get it, which means I would need it before Thursday. lol
No pressure right?
Let me know if you know anywhere I can get these locally. Thanks! Hope all is well.
You need 12 of each? I might have a couple, but that that would be it, sorry.
If you can find a Radio Shack that still carries them, they might have a few. Most RS have been transformed into Cell stores. Micro Center in Chicago, or try Barns And noble although they would be expensive.

Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
I need 11-12 servos for the 11 eyes on the pumpkin. I only need one Arduino and one breadboard to hook them together. I will need a switch too, but that's easy enough. I will try to do some searching tonight in South Bend, and see what I can find. Thanks Glenn!
I went ahead and ordered ekcreit® UNO R3 Basic Starter Learning Kit Upgrade Version For Arduino from Bang Good with a 3-7 day delivery time. I am hoping for 3. We shall see. What will be will be. :-)
It comes with 9 servos, so if you are interested in selling me your 2 that will give me 11 of them. :-D I am sure my kit won't be here by Thursday unless an angel picks it up, but I'd love to stop by and perhaps someone can show me what the Arduino programming aspect of it looks like so when it comes I will be ready to go.

SparkFun usually ships ridiculously fast, and a lot of that stuff can be found on Amazon Prime, as well.
For servos and things like that, there're two hobby shops in Granger, and another one in Goshen... I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I've been to.
You'll have to show us he finished product when you're done!!
Thanks Jim! I will check out the local shops for the 2 additional servos I need. Also, I found the code for this project as well, so hopefully I will have it mostly sorted out before the Arduino arrives.
