It occurred to me that we each have a little bit different experience with each print material. I've got a set of temps for ABS that's different than PLA, and Phil has worked with different Nylons, Shane knows resins, etc... Can we make a sticky post to share those settings with each other that's all in the same place and easy to go find?
What do you think?
Good Idea Jim.

I guess I'll start
I've attached the Cura slicing profiles that I've been using for ABS and PLA. They're mostly the same except for temperature and retraction. I use 2 blower fans at 100% after .5mm layer height for both materials. With less fan, you probably ought to decrease the print temp. Also, These profiles are both optimized for using an E3D v6.
I think in addition to basic settings we should include tips and tricks also. For example, pre-drying your nylon techniques. Fan speed settings for PLA (maybe no fan on 1st layer). Speed and layer heights.Things like that.

Tips on using T-Glase. No particular order and YMMV since I am no expert just playing still.
Using an orion delta with E3D V6 hot end.
Bottom up. Painters tape bed temp 60C Sticks well First layer extruder size mine is .4mm so that is first layer. Slow, I found that 5mm works. Keep it below 20 or your not going to get good results. Extruder temp 220C (play with this and print speed combo to find what works for you. I still get "stringing" also move out quite a bit from your print with a couple layer skirt to make sure your extruding material because it seems the first few layers have flow problems until it gets going. I use zero retraction. Measure the filament real good and use this number when you set up. I solved my problems just by doing this instead of plugging in 1.75mm. Amazing how much of a difference something so small can make in results. Push print button and sit back and watch the blinking lights
FWIW, I just tried Cura verson 14.09 with my Pup Delta and have to say I'm fairly impressed - the print looked significantly better than with Slic3r. I used identical settings where I could specify them. It's not a complete apples-to-apples comparison, but I have to say I will keep using it from here on out for my Pup. Interestingly enough, I didn't have the same experience when I tried it with my Prusa i3's and felt Slic3r was better...

good to know. however, in my experience slicers tend to be model dependent. Sometimes one works better for a certain model. Cura is/has been one of my favorites. Lots of times I default to Slic3r only because of it's good simulation and integration with the Repetier firmware.

Does anybody have a set of working .ini files for Kiss Slicer?
I need to use it to test the ZLeveling program with MHackney, but I keep banging my head into the wall trying to use it. I'll get prints that don't home or drop to Z0, or ones that retract but don't restart, etc...
