I registered us for 8 tables and power. Phil I volunteered you to do a short (5min or less) talk on the MakerHive for Sat. after noon. You could probably do longer too if you want.
More info from SB150
Hi all,
It has been brought to my attention that there has not been clear communication on the overnight security that will be provided Saturday night. There will be displays throughout the campus and we are taking security very seriously. Here is the overnight security that will be provided: • There will be four paid, ESG security officers stationed throughout the campus (Jefferson bridge, Howard Park, Seitz Park, and Century Center). • Police officers will be patrolling the perimeter of the campus. • DTSB Ambassadors and Parks Officers will also be patrolling in and around the campus. • 4 large, mercury security lights will be used to keep the campus lit though the night. • The tents in the Tech Hub will have walls that will be closed and zipped up overnight. • The entire Birthday Weekend campus will be fenced in. There is a variety of fencing used in different parts of the campus. The tech hub is in a pretty secure place since it is located next to the river and 6 ft fencing is at the streets.
A couple other logistical notes: • We are able to get the tents, sides and tables and can fulfill the electrical needs • Setup must occur Friday or Saturday before 9am. We have to have the site clear of load-in vehicles by 9:30am at the latest. Loading in after the event has already begun and loading out during the event is not feasible. • You must bring your own extension cords and fans if you need them. • This is a 2 day- 20 hour event and it is the expectation that you will be there the entire time.
I believe most of you have gotten back to me with your activity/display description and the website has been updated with the information. Please advise if your description needs any updates/changes.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions and concerns. Thank you for your efforts in making this event a success!
Thanks, Jackie

I spoke to Dan from The Branch earlier, and they're going to try and get a table next to us for their Hack Michiana group. That should be some good networking!

Yes! I don't mind taking over - I mean "sharing" the space

If anyone has a Spark Core board, please bring it with you to the SB150 if you plan to attend. A company called www.trek10.com is in need of one for their cool demo and reached out to us for help. I don't have one but if anyone else does, it would be great to let them use it for a day or two.
Thanks

Thanks everyone for coming out to the SB150 Tech hub and helping out! It was a good time and we made some great connections. I would expect to see our numbers grow a bit in the next few weeks.
Now for a picture showing an empty table - held in memory of those that couldn't make it. OH The Shame.
