Two weeks ago Chuck Beuter showed up with his rear projecting solar projector. This tube had an adapter for a 1.25" eyepiece and would then take that image and project the sun safely onto material that would then show the sun. My idea is to take the funnel out and make it look like an old fashion camera, something from the 1880's - 1910's in photography. Not only would it be cool to make it look old fashion but the Bellows could be used insure eyepiece of various sizes IE Nagler 31mm, one of the largest eyepieces sold to amatures. I found a Bellows PDF that could help in building one that is 2"x 2" and one end and 6"x 6" at the other end, with 12" of traveling.
Can someone make a CAD drawing of the Bellows I described (2"x 2" to 6"x 6" with 12" of travel) and print it out on a plotter for me to fold? The document to help out with the creation of the CAD is here.. Bellow PDF once again.
