So I've got an issue with one of my cats doing his thinking outside the box, so to speak. There's a corner of my basement that I'd like to keep him away from and I'm trying to come up with a good solution.
My idea is to get a cheap PIR sensor and put it looking into the corner and have it tied into a micro controller (or whatever). This would then activate a servo to depress the top of a can of citrus air freshener. I've read that cats don't like citrus smells and I know that the hissing sound would be good.
Any other ideas / suggestions?
