Ok, I'm thinking about buying a couple more of the ESP8266's off eBay and as of my last look, there's roughly 12 different "versions" of it. Which one is recommended?
The ESP-12 gives you 11 GPIO pins, 1 ADC, PCB antenna, Standalone application, and it's $3 from AliExpress. It's not all that breadboard friendly, but it's by far the most capable.
I didn't order those Jim, they are out of stock. They have been out of stock on a lot of things lately. It's starting to tick me off as their web site isn't being kept up to date and it always seems to be the sale Items that are out of stock.

Well, MPJA told me they were out of stock, but I just received my order today and - here they are. So if you still want them I have them, if not no biggy, I'll keep them. They told me the wrong part number so the part they are out of was some jumper leads I ordered.
