Wow - too bad the batteries aren't with them. $6.81 each so after buying a set of batteries from Lowes for 99.00 for a set of 2(which are planed to be discontinued this year or next) your at 56.80 per drill + charger, another 99.00. So if you used one charger for all the drills your at $59.05 per drill. Not too bad really. New 18volt Dewalt drills will be on sale this year for X-mas at 99.00 or less Drill - 2 batteries plus charger.
Nice buy for a company that already has a lot of 18volt drills and batteries, assuming their batteries are still good. Which is probably why they are selling them.
EDIT Didn't realize they were 12v Drills - Those batteries have been discontinued years ago. That explains it.

Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
Just put a car battery in a back pack and run the wires down your arm to a disconnect at your wrist and you are all set.
I have often considered making a wall wart for my 18 volts guns - but then it's no longer a "cordless" screw gun. but when all the batteries are dead what do you do? lol

You can get a lot of generic tool batteries from places like BangGood. I wonder if the discontinued Dewalt ones are available under other names and from other suppliers?

I've tried those batteries, they lasted about 2 months. And they didn't have comparable power when they where new.

That's why I keep buying Ryobi, even though the tools aren't always as nice as the Hitachi/Dewalt/other brands for specific purposes - the darn batteries have been compatible for over a decade. This would be enough motors to make a serious set of projects though!
