So... I came across some information about Dr. Kei's experiment a while back and the found the results very intriguing even though its something i will probably not pursue anytime soon. Supposedly, Dr. Kei setup a cherry tomato plant to grow in a special pressurized CO2 chamber (around 22 PSI) and removed UV light from the sun by filtering through fiber optics. this tomato plant grew to 30 foot tall and produced something like 13000 tomatoes over the course of it's 6+ year (i thought i read 13 years or so but couldn't verify it) life, and supposedly the cherry tomatoes were the size of softballs. I have not been able to locate sources for the info yet but the story appears in quite a few different places(and facts seem to vary . It's similar to the theories behind a hyperbaric chamber, except for plants. Details of the experiment seem to be hard to come by on google, and pictures even harder, although i've seen a few in the past. If there is truth in the results, you could feed armies of people with the right application of technology. Any way, here's a couple links to get you started if you are curious like me:

I had recently come across this on a tiktok video and wanted to look more into it, I couldn't find anything on Snopes to verify that Dr.Mori was even real. BUT! There is a record of a 919.88 ft² tomato plant t grown at Aleph Inc. at Tomato-no-mori in Ecorin-mura, in Eniwa, Hokkaido, Japan. The plant was measured on 10 November 2013.
I just though I would share that as their hasn't been activity on this post since 2017.
