The December 5ht Maker meeting will be held at the Electric Brew in Goshen and Phillip Briski has invited a special guest. John Goebel is a member of the Elkhart County Community Foundation and has agreed to attend. Phillip has been talking with him about possible grants and/or investments into the maker space. I would like everyone to bring their "A" game and some clear thoughts on what you hope to find in a maker space, what you would do if it were available to you, and possibly a small project you are currently working on. Mr. Goebel may address us as a whole, individually, or he may just sit and listen, I'm not sure.
I think it would be great if we had a couple 3D printers there along with some 3D printed parts. Some electronics projects, and some robotics would be cool. I tried to reserve the conference room for this meeting but it has already been taken. The brew told me it had been booked for "All Day" but if they leave by 5:30 we may still be able to get it. I'll send out another reminder next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday. After that hopefully we will have a working web site.

Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
