Thats really cool. I noticed that two of the props point down and the other two point up. Is that just because of the folding design or is there some other advantage for that?
I can see a few of those being "lost at Sea" lol - Another worlds first!
Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
The technique of mounting the motor and prop downwards is to avoid prop wash and vibration. It's more like a jet engine now without the arm AND the motor body getting in the way of the flow of air. Why they didn't do it on the back motors, I am not sure. Maybe, because the camera is mounted in the front and vibration and prop wash (if you had to choose) is mostly eliminated close to the camera to ensure more steady footage, and the reason the props and motors are normal in the back is to provide better forward (faster) movement when needed)as opposed to reverse movement (harder to film objects on ground when traveling in reverse). Any forward movement will always have the back rotors spinning faster than the front to allow it to pitch forward.
