Linux and 3D Robotics have launched Dronecode, a new program to encourage the use of drones for productive and positive means. Drones Approved for Agricultural Use in New York State Speaking of drones, two crop specialists for Cornell Cooperative Extension in upstate New York have received FAA approval to use Precision Hawk drones to monitor their crop fields, following a number of flight tests. The drone will be decked out with visual, thermal, and multispectral cameras to look out for pests and disease on their land.
