The "build strength" of the machine seems similar if not better on Ebay. It's a little less refined though. Integrated spindle/motor instead of outboard motor on a "real" spindle, no enclosure, no speed control, etc.
I like the machine, and like Jim I really like the spindle but I am having a hard time justifying the cost. However it does come with all the software you need to run it, but it's not clear if that must be used exclusively. If the cost was around the $1600.00 mark I might look hard at it but at $2500.00 I would rather buy a 60watt laser
