Sharing my progress on my gMax 1.5 3D printer build. This started as just wanting to add a heated bed but I ended up just upgrading the jhead to a Pico hot end also. I made a simple clip on fan shroud for the supplied 40mm fan. I might redesign it to raise up a little more.
Another Picture of the hot end.
The Y-motor braket and the belt clamp I had to reprint out of ABS because the originals were PLA and warped. The Motor bracket I remade to sit closer to frame to make it less likely to bend under heat and tension.
Dedicated power supply just for the heated bed. This is a 850W power supply.
18in by 18in heated bed make in the USA. The connectors on the bottom are General Motors 4 pin front O2 sensor connectors. With a constant 12V supply it stays at 95-105 Celsius.
Part of the Y-axis carriage that did not stand up to the heat
Original belt clamp that super warped.
My printer cave.

Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
Even making them public does not make the link work. The URL changes over time so that's why when I first posted them I could see them for a few minutes. I transferred them to photobucket so it should work now.
Project update. Custom cut piece of glass installed. Redesigned track system under heated bed. First print is a full sized license plate frame in ABS with no warping or separation of layers. Print is laid on my Rostock Max V2 just to show size.
