Now I have discovered that the E3D lite is leaking above the heater block as well as around the nozzle. I will disassemble it asap, but I suspect that the PTFE tube isn't holding up.

Did you follow their assembly procedure and tightening exactly step-by-step? it does make a difference.
I have not run the v6-lite yet, but the v6 is picky on how it gets assembled.... or you will have problems with jams or leaks. You also must keep retracts really short (like 3mm) or else the filament can get caught on the junction between nozzle and heat break. That is one of the main reasons I prefer the Prometheus hot end, it's nozzle and heat break are ONE PIECE... no chance of leaks or jams by catching on joints.
I think it came loose form repeated heating and cooling cycles. Things tend to loosen. I plan on taking it apart soon to see how the PTFE tube is doing.

Weren't you just complaining about your hotends clogging up all the time? Or was that before you went to the Pro?

The jams/clogs where with the E3D v6 not the Prometheus
Right, But that don't mean repeated heating and cooling won't eventually loose it. That just means it will be super-duper tight when it's cool.
Also, is there a way to change in firm ware the direction of the print head? The print head moves in a counter clockwise rotation. I have to watch my boden connectors when doing spiral vase and on mostly round objects as the continued rotation unscrews the boden connectors. So I often wonder if this doesn't have an effect on the nozzle as well.
