A group of Notre Dame IT employees are organizing a two-part weekend hardware hacking event Saturday, November 12th and Saturday, December 3rd in DeBartolo Hall at Notre Dame. We'll be building a hardware/software platform with sensors to measure the ambient environment and publish it to the web, using the versatile and inexpensive ESP8266 chip.
You need zero experience to attend. The total cost is $40 and includes two weekends of sessions, lunch, and all the hardware. This is open to the public and good for anyone looking to get into electronics; it's also great for bringing your kids to expose them to what's possible.
We only have 50 spots available, and last year there was a waiting list. Sign up today!
