That's really cool - I hope it works as good as they suggest. However at a few points in the video it looks like the mouse is jumping all over the place. I'll wait until the bugs are worked out for that one. But honestly - I don't wee why we can't do that with our eyes, and move the pointer to where we look.
Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
This is a bad design. Your finger in the free air at that height doesn't have a lot of stability, so the accuracy will not be there. Plus NO TACTILE. Also, his will not be funded. This design however gets it and makes more sense . YES I funded this and it's coming.
You every try to keep your eye still or watch how your eye moves? Our eyes move in static jumps, not smooth lines. I don't think it's doable.
Would be much easier to have a camera track the end of our nose SEE HERE (www.cameramouse.org/) and you move your head or have a gyroscope SEE HERE (www.emotiv.com/) on your head and it move the mouse with your head. Your head can make a much higher degree of small and smoother movement than you eyes.
Both of these products I have used to great success.
