I bought my E3Dv6 from Filastruder too. I would recommend ordering an extra resistor or two. I bent the legs on mine one too many times during installation and it eventually broke.

Brian, what did you do to mount yours? Did you just use the same J-Head mount and clamp that you made for everybody else?

Jim, yes the same J-Mount that I make works with E3D. The only difference is with the v4 or v5 they used a large plastic PTC fitting, so for those I make a different top clamp plate that has a large hole instead of the 5mm threaded t-nut insert for seeme ptc fitting. However, the v6 has a small intergrated bowden clamp that should work by simply removing the 5mm threaded insert in my top clamp plate. I have not tried that, but don't see why it would not work. I will test that ou tommorow at the shop. Or the v4/v5 top clamp with large hole would certianly work.
Just the heating indicator alone might work as a clamp also.
