looks interesting supposedly has "interactive" support generation? I am going to dl and try it out.
edit: wow, they sell a nice looking ALL METAL printer for $800.00 Design like a Ultimaker, which I think is probably the best design for a Cartesian machine. I read through the user manual and it looks like a well thought out polished package. I like it. www.craftunique.com/item/craftbot

Wow, nice software. You guys gotta check this out. has some great features. click on the expert slice mode and prepare to smile! Interactive supports are dead simple to. One thing I have not seen in any other slicer is you can define the seam position by "compass" heading... that will be great for printing statues and busts. I have not printed with it yet, but if it's tool-paths are as good as the interface it will be sweeeeet.!
Tried with major failure. Have not had time to go back and mess with it.....oh yea my hot end burned out AGAIN. that's why I have not tried again.
Do you build your own hot end? If the Resistors are not tight against the Aluminum body, they cannot dissipate the heat fast enough causing the Resistor to burn out. SeeMe started making the resistor hole bigger so a heater cartridge can be used. This I think allows too much space between the resistor and the body.
Some things are meant to be closed. Your mind isn't one of them.
